About Us

The Promise Room Committee is made up of Nolan County women from all walks of life with one common goal: To serve and style the young men and women of Nolan County. Our committee was started in 2022 and has continued to grow.

 

During our first season, we started in a small room and helped 4 young ladies with prom dresses, shoes, hair, make-up, and corsages all at no cost. In our second year, we expanded to assist with other events including 8th Grade Banquet, Yucca, Homecoming, and Miss Snake Charmer Pageant. In 2024, we assisted 11 young ladies and 2 young men in attending their events. We are proud of this growth and grateful to our community for their support along the way. We were also gifted a beautiful, large space to better serve our students.

When you walk into The Promise Room, dreams come true. Our committee members are the "fairy godmothers" for these students. The committee consists of: Stacy Dove, Jessica Street, Brandy Thompson, Gabby Mallett, Casey Bills, Kathleen Cox, Brittany Wilson, Sherie Alldredge, Jennie Dodd, and Becky Acuna.
